Bend It like Beckham 2


JESS FROM “BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM


             The conflict of Jess is compelling pulled by two forces that she can’t fight, but go around the problems in her life, her two conflicts. One of her conflicts was ambitions, which is being like a maid to a person she marries, but she wants more than that more than a servant to a man she wants to live her dream. Another of her conflicts is obligation, is what her family wants her to be, which is to a proper Indian and to have a family of her own, but the same wants more than what her family wants from her.



       One of her conflicts is ambitions, which in term is being a house maid for the future husband she will one day get. But she wants way more than that she wants to play football (soccer), and be good at it, she wants to run free play out in the open and go to the, Big Leagues. Rather then be stuck in a house preparing food, and just sitting down to watch TV, till the husband comes. No she wants to live her dream to play football, and have fun doing it.

         Another of her conflicts is obligations, which means is doing what her family wants her to be and do. Which is to be a proper Indian girl that follows her culture, her customs, marry, become a wife from her own religion and culture. Have kids, and have a proper education, but she wants more than that she does want to have a family, an education, but she wants that while living her dream of playing football. Going to tournaments, going the world, she will live up to her expectations, and her families’ expectations as well.

          In the point on view of many may think her wants are crazy, like her family they think that playing football, and showing of her legs, are like going against their culture. And a waste of time considering of what happened to Jess’s dad after he won the cricket tournament, got no respect when he came back, and made fun of. He didn’t want that for Jess so he wants her to quit before it’s too late. As for Jess’s mother she wants her not to play football because she show’s her legs, and because she isn’t contributing to her own culture, and wants her to focus on becoming a good house wife, and to learn the language she was born with.


            Well all this could work out Jess can play football, and live up to her families’ expectations, by playing for football she can go get an education in the U.S. Once she’s done playing she could rest down for a while enjoy being a housewife/ wife for a while. Enjoy relaxation for a while then maybe go and play some more football. Or have children and start her own family, and settle down her ambitions, and her parents desires could all be together. She plays football wins the World Cup, comes back and settles down with her family, and probably one of her own in the future as well.

Public Safety VS Civil Rights

      Public Safety is more important than the civil rights, cause of its great importance. Civil Rights are rights that protect people from discrimination of race, gender, age, gender identity, and place of origin. As for public safety protects you from any dangers that will, have, or has happened and will help you from any harm, injuries, damages, crimes, and any manmade, or nature accidents (bomb, wild fire, epidemic)

Public Safety is more important because during a flu epidemic the A/H1N1 people have considered to quarantine/detain the disease by keeping the infected trapped like rats in a cage causing more harm than good if the Public Safety was enforced people wouldn’t have been quarantined like the people infected have either been transferred to another place or quarantinedSome 300 people have spent the past week quarantined in their hotel in Hong Kong after one guest fell ill with the virus, while Mexicans and Canadians were detained in mainland China.”

Civil Rights is more important for for the freedom of speech and that it goes with the first amendment and that it allows people to get jobs like people could not hire them because of the color of their skin, even for anything they could have done in the past, that’s why so they have the right to get a job or buy anything they want, so in a way it’s also useful to get a job or but Hot Cheetos.


So public Safety protects your human rights to live and practically anything even if your contagious, you will have the rights to go around walking, and as well controls the police department, hospitals, etc. And for the civil rights that protects your freedom of speech, the right to get a job “ even if you go to jail or something , and discrimination. So by some people they’ll think public safety is more important, but in my opinion public safety is more important.

Digital law Facts

Rigth now I'm doing better than I was doing my project, considering I know what to do now, I still need a lot more information for my topic, let alone the thing to make a vidoe about it. I still don't know what my thing is even  about. All I know is that the law was signed in October 28, 1998. And that it's name WIPO means Copyrigh and performances Phonograms Treaties Implemention.

Digital Access Sentences And Questions

A website that's  sheding some ligth to people that can't afford internet anymore. A small team that travels communities  across the countries to talk about stories.

People that don't have the connections to houses, work or any other computer access.

Me not having alot of access to htings could impoact my grades, for not alot of information on my work so it could become a huge treath.

Make us look weaker as o whole considering we won't be able to have fast speed internet like the others.

Ask for help from another country with high internet speed or just tell the scientist to make something.

To make people have faster internet without delay or seconds waste.

To add one digit to make the internet go faster, or just ask computer hackers  how considering they are so good with computers.

Make a connection where they can keep the place open.

Digital Access

So what technology is technology there will always be some glitches, but in a good three to four years that problem will be solved, and a knew problem will be involved because of the problem they have solved. So either way there will always be a problem so I don't think much about it until the whole internet breaks or crashes down completely.

Not much people always have ways to cope with some problems with the internet like blocking sites hackers make sites to help us go around, under, and over the blocking sites  so we will find ways to coop so ill be okay unless hachers quit their jobs.

I will teach him the ways to goaround the internet with ease , considering I am learning computers I will teach him what I've learned here. And if that fails well he better hope hes got a good teacher then.

Design Brief

10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.
 I am going to make a small Comic on how to make a Design Cycle, to make a great grade on it and pass this class, and I am going to make it for some 6th graders to make a Design Cycle.

11. What are the requirements for this assignment?
To make a good project help some 6th graders make a Design Cycle easy as counting 1to3.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?
Making as half as good as any of the people made any project so I wish I made a project good enough as anybodies, plus I left out some parts of the Design so yeah it's missing some things.
13. How will you "test" your presentation? 
I will make a bunch of 6th graders test it and if it comes out great I made it perfect to be used again and again for future generations to come.

I chose Comic Master because it was fast and the only one I can do fast.

In some ways yes , yes it does.

REFLECT on your learning? Well I will use to finish the project, and make it as good as good as it can be.

Investigation

 My problems on my project were everything considering I didn't know were to start , how to make it. Plus I didn't even know I had to start in the first place I had to stay back for 3 weeks for after school to just catch up to even the people who slack off. So I had a very hard time doing all my work asking questions making sure every part good enough for a good 80% plus easy enough for a 6th grader to learn from it. It was really hard for other kids it was easy cause they knew when and where to make their projects, so yeah.

Evaluation on my Steps

Investigation

On investigation, I would give myself a 3. Because I needed help on half of my project when I was trying to finish it. I needed help on where to make the project, thats about it but where to put the project when it was finished was a little harder took me 1 hour to do it.

Plan

On plan I will give myself a 5, because I made the product with no problems did it fast but had to go back to put in finishing touches to it. Plus I had to plan when to make when to be done,and every little step down to the mark which was dificult.

Create

On create  I give myself a 2 considering I turned and finished everything in the wrong time, but I still finished it  so I don't think it was a total fail and I think it looks great and i spent a lot of time on it so it will be a good project.

Evaluate

On evaluate I give myself a 6, I think I have done well on it spent good time on it  so I deserve some high grade.

 I have finished making my comic master and it is ready to be Evaluated, how that is gonna be done is be evaluated by 6th graders, it will be good considering it's made for them specificly. First I will tell them to read it, have them gain a little knowledge get them to see it for a few times. Then after they have read it a couple of times I will have them take a little quiz i have made. More than 75% of the group should get only one wrong I made the Comic Master to help 6th grader learn the Design Cycle fast and without problems. If more than half of them fail that means i haven't done my job  well and must improve on it. But if all the 6th graders pass with only one wrong answer that means I have done my job well. So I grade myself a 5 in all.

INVESTIGATION REFLECTION

Well i still don't know what the problem is, considering I don't know or what my project is. Oh wait now i know what my project is it's about how to make a website to teach 6th grade students ho to do their design cycle by just looking at the website with prease. Some problems were to find help making the website so i found away by hiring students trying to get into college they'll work for free just by working.And the other problem i solved which was me not knowing how to do the website which agin is either the college students or me doing my best and asking for help around school. Once finished I'll test it out on some 6th graders well give them 1 week and 3 days to do it when the time is up and have a real teacher grade them and if she gives them a perfect grade the website works and will be ready to be used for all six graders.

Design Cycle

I'm gonna make a website for sixth graders to do design cycles it's gonna show 'em how to do it step by step, and have some sites connected to it so if they have questions they can just click on the site and just read from there.

I'll need a way to make the website and how to connect to other websites and to make other websites to connect to, and i'll need a team to help me with the website so it can  be perfect.

Me trying to find people to help me on the website for free and without complines. Plus doing the typing for a good 8-10 websites for over 120 kids and to make sure even a kinder gardener can do it with it's eyes are closed which will take years even a proffesional hacker/cumputerist to have problems making this.

When finished and done we will then tell a sixth grader to do a design cycle to use the website we created to help him with it give him 2 weeks tops to finish it and if a real like teacher grades it and gives it a perfect grade the website works and is a success.

SAMPLE INVESTIGATION COMPARISON

SImplicity's # i gave a 3 because it seemed so simple even a 3rd grader could do it . But still with little difficulties so I'm giving comic Master a 3 on simplicity. Even with everything so good and perfect i'm giving this thing a 3.


On theme choices # i gave a 4 because it seemed good but just not perfect for a complete 5. I did have second thuogths about this grade but i gave it a 4 just for the hell of it plus i didn't like the little video people in  it as well.


In character choices # i gave this one a 4 as well just as for the last reason i gave that other one a four it seemed good but not perfect. Plus I knew they could have done better but they stuck with average they should just be happy I'm giving it a 4 I could be giving it a 2.


In font i gave it a 5 because it seemed good i could read it perfectly so clear. Plus any other number wouldn't have fitted for tat exact one. And I didn't want to give it anything less than a 5.

In music I gave a 0 I really don't remember why it was propally because the song, and or music was annoying, and or disturbing. Or my brain just blocked it out and just told me to give that thing a .

Day 2 reflection

I took all the class period trying to log in to the blog failed more times than i could count and i most likely lost count after the 50th try. Got super frustrated and gave up so all i got was a few videos from an ananomis blog saw some of those videos if seems you could make your own videos and characters in make your animation.
